Personal Opinion and Commentary

Just about everyone has some sort of opinion, belief, fear, interest, or passion, about this subject.  Even yours truly has, on occasion, life experiences that can be characterized as paranormal.  A couple of experiences sent chills down my back, straightened my hair, and down right scared the heck out of me.  Humans tend to fear things we don't understand.  But over the years I've become accepting of sightings, events, and experiences, that once seemed pretty far out there on the scale of human experience.  For the most part, fear of these unknowns has subsided, mainly due to a broader perspective and deeper understanding of our natural universe.

While I have not pursued discovery of the paranormal, I do have a very active interest in it.  I've never spoken of my experiences openly except with immediate family.  But nowadays this is not such a taboo subject and I feel more comfortable talking about some issues knowing that I can refer to the many good people out there who have actually taken investigation of the weird, strange, and spooky, into the realm of real science.  Doing so has thrust this once touchy subject into the mind of mainstream Western consciousness thereby dispelling some of the incredible negativity that has shrouded this mysterious phenomena.  And so, I've come out of the closet, so to speak.  Booooo!

My spiritual beliefs are such that I have a very sacred and loving connection to our Living Earth and other aspects of our natural unseen world and universe, life, the life hereafter, and I believe there are no accidents or coincidences.

Along that vein, a trilogy of old and recent life experiences, including my creative pursuits, spiritual path and belief's, came together in a rather strange confluence of events the other day.  A single event that created a remarkable situation, opportunity, and a state of clarity I never expected; something greater than the sum of the parts.

As if you can't tell, most, if not all, of my jewelry is created with purpose, specific intent, and metaphysical properties.  Some is specifically designed to protect the wearer from negative forces and/or energy.  Others draw certain energies toward the wearer like a magnet.  Aspects like color, numerology, certain stones and crystals, and other natural elements, for their specific energy of purpose, including the real unseen, very positive, energy of thought and prayer, are all combined to naturally enhance the subtle energies within these objects and balance the dimensional and interdimensional space around the individual wearer; all accomplished with pure intent to benefit the wearer in positive ways.

Incorporating aspects of a spiritual nature into my jewelry and the link to the paranormal I've always had, seem to sort of meld together in a unusual, but strangely comfortable and natural way.  And I didn't realize this until a conversation with the founder of TSPI that stimulated the epiphany or realization that connected the dots with regard to the paranormal, my spiritual path, and my special jewelry.

This may be obvious to some, but for some reason I didn't realize it until I connected with Mr. Dennis.  It became clear that certain pieces of jewelry I had been making for some time would indeed have very real and practical application for those in the paranormal field of active research and investigation, and will also help others experiencing paranormal phenomena.  Specific energy for a purpose is definitely within these pieces and within the wearers power to use.  The degree of course is up to the wearer.  It's all dependant on their thoughts and frame of mind, intent as it were.  But totally within their control.

As a intuitive person my spiritual tentacles, or filaments, are always out in conscious awareness and effort to connect with everything on some level.  During my conversation with Mr. Dennis, I felt a very powerful magnetic like tug, not toward him, though I know he's a terrific person, it was more of a spiritual or inner tug I could actually feel happening; real sensations like vertigo all mixed in with certain emotions.  It's difficult to explain.  Long held independent thoughts, and energies associated with those thoughts, were falling, being pulled, or drawn, together like a swirling vortex created by a sort of gravitational alignment.  The event sensation actually affected my physical body as the process created energy of new thoughts and ideas that were simply not within my perception until they amassed.  And I realized that Mr. Dennis was in fact the catalyst for "the gathering," even as we spoke.  Quite unexpected.  The feeling was amazing, his energy seemed to bridge a gap I did not know existed, and a connection was made where there was previously none; on a scientific biological level, a new neural pathway was formed.  I believe it can be defined literally like this; an epiphany.

In the moments after this magical energy began to manifest came the sweetness of clarity in which I became shockingly aware of a timeless circle of potentials that had begun decades ago!  The energy of many life experiences, various skills I've learned, seemingly insignificant achievements, long held belief's, enlightened thoughts, recent activities and events, and epiphanies, seemingly little bits and pieces of my entire life were swirling into place, filling a void, and creating a path with special purpose and new potentials right before my very minds-eye and suddenly I could see a very clear path open up in front of me.  This energy settled into a peaceful and doubtless inner knowing that a synchronicity of significance had occurred - what others outside the realm of Metaphysical awareness would call a "coincidence."  This is really great stuff.  A lifetime of energies I'd gathered and carried in chaos, or disarray, came together as a vessel of pure potential and purpose with a tiny spark of awareness brought about through mere contact with Mr. Dennis.

This is exactly how Spirit works with human beings, the actual mechanics of it, an exchange of energies between people.  Truly amazing.  What's even more amazing is that Mr. Dennis doesn't even know.  Lest he read this!  This also goes to show just how profoundly one human being can impact another without any effort at all.  Just so we're clear, the use of the term "Spirit" up to this point in the article refers to the Higher-Self, Spirit Guides, Angelic Divinity, not ghosts.

I say all this because, ghosts, the energy of people left on earth after they have passed over, can and does impact those of us still here on earth.  They are energy just as we are...and we can interact with this ethereal energy.  This is partly what ghost hunting is all about - discovery, proof, and understanding, of the unknown.

If I create a pendant for someone designed to block or dispel negative energy, it applies to any negative or dark energy, whether from Eeyore type people or worse, a real physical person bent on causing harm, or ethereal energies, and even negative energy from another object.  Just because we don't see where the energy comes from doesn't mean we cannot interact with it or them or we're not affected in some way by the energy regardless of source; often the affects of spirit energy on the living go unrecognized until it's too late.  Which is why my "Paranormal Jewelry" is of value, it's like a shield, protecting the wearer from unrecognized and/or unwanted, undesirable, negative energy.  The unseen does indeed affect people.

You don't see the air but it affects you, especially if it's hot or cold.  Or love, you can't see it, but you can certainly feel it.  You can also see the affects of love.  You give someone a heart shaped pendant and it's meant as a gesture of love, it's full of love energy is it not?  Then what happens to the person receiving the heart pendant?  The energy of it is transferred and it incites all kinds of emotions; compassion, or perhaps even love in return does it not? 

This is real energy and we are all affected by it, whether recognized, realized, or acknowledged; it's a natural, sacred, cycle.  Energy, in some form or another, surrounds us all the time.

Yeah I know, to some this is Woo-woo stuff.  It's okay though.  I know it's a matter of perspective.  There is no judgment here either, it's a matter of free choice and I respect that.

Anyway, within a short time I knew I should avail myself of the opportunity Mr. Dennis extended, so I committed to attend the First Annual Texas Ghost Show in spite of the distance needed to travel there.

But I am happy to do it and be a part of the show and support the Texas Society of Paranormal Investigators - Mr. Don Dennis.

Life never ends, and discovering what it's all about is exciting, fun, and part of the reason we're here.  We should meet it with childlike curiosity, wide-eyed enthusiasm, and confidence, knowing we're in control.
